New In Designs: A Personally-Branded Magazine to Generate Leads

In an increasingly challenging business environment, agents are looking at their lead generation efforts and thinking through authentic ways in which they can connect with their sphere, be of value, and establish themselves as trustworthy fiduciaries for any real estate needs.

For the past year, agents have been checking in with SOI members and building rapport through care calls, a practice that continues as the world remains uncertain. But while phone calls are an essential part of your arsenal, they are not the only way to engage your database.

For the past few months, your Keller Williams team has been hard at work, creating a new personally-branded magazine template, available in the Designs applet within Command and free to use for all Keller Williams agents. Meet your newest lead generation asset.

What Is the Personally-Branded Magazine?

Now available under the “Lead Generation” category in Designs, the personally-branded magazine allows agents and teams to swiftly create a professional-grade, ready-to-publish magazine that can be tailored to your brand and business, leveraged in a digital or printed format, and shared with the most important people in your professional life.

A perfect tool for reengaging your database and generating new leads, the magazine strikes a balance between pre-written, full-length feature articles with topics that will inform and entertain your sphere, alongside ample room to position yourself as the go-to real estate expert and showcase standout listings.

How to Use the Personally-Branded Magazine

The personally-branded magazine is home to three timely feature articles informing your sphere on universal topics of interest including home budgeting, home maintenance, and wellness. In addition, seven additional personally-branded pages (and two personally-branded covers!) provide a well-rounded glimpse into the type of business you run and the value that your database can gain from working with you. Let’s take a deep dive into the available content.

Feature Articles

Real Estate Resolutions to Save Money in 2021: The first feature article provides readers with five ideas they can implement in order to potentially lower their monthly bills and maintain (or even increase) their property value. With each tip provided, the article offers room to highlight a selection of preferred vendors and contractors.

Home Maintenance Projects to Tackle ASAP: Featuring a digestible, graphics-heavy format, this piece reminds readers to check on some easily forgotten, but also easily implementable, home maintenance chores that are sure to keep their homes happy and vibrant.

Say Goodbye to Winter Blues: The personally-branded magazine’s last feature article invites readers to check in with their mindset and engage in activities that can improve their mood during the colder months.

Personalized Content

Your Magazine Covers, Branded: With the personally-branded magazine, every page works for YOU! Personalization was top-of-mind when creating the product, and it starts right with the cover. The cover holds space to include an agent or team name, the office that the business is a part of, as well as your own recognizable brand logo. The back cover is a nod to your very own KW App, with prominent space to include your personalized URL.

Letter From the ‘Editor’ (Hey, That’s You!): The personally-branded magazine puts your face in front of your database right off the bat. In the “Note from the agent” section, you can introduce yourself as the neighborhood expert for all real estate needs. The page contains general copy that can be used as is, or you can personalize with additional detail to your liking. Be sure to put your best headshot forward so your sphere can easily picture exactly whom they could be working with.

Year in Review: Give your database a bird’s-eye view of the market on the “Year in Review” page. With space to plug in stats for 2019 and 2020, as well as general neighborhood market statistics and your very own business statistics, readers will be left feeling empowered by the knowledge.

Showcase Your Listings: The personally-branded magazine holds not one, but two full pages dedicated to showcasing your listing. Save the star student for the “Featured Listing” section, which provides room for a description as well as ample photography space. Six more listings can be featured on an additional page, “Hottest Winter Listings.” Both pages offer space to insert your contact information, leading interested buyers straight to your phone or inbox for a tour.

Establish Your Expertise: The “Get to Know Me” section is the perfect spot to let your education, awards, and statistics do the talking when it comes to why clients should work with you. The section provides general copy including some background information on the Keller Williams founding principles, and space for you to make your case in your own words, if desired.

Spotlight Your Clients: Your clients are the best marketers money can’t buy. The “Success Stories” section allows you to take full advantage of your glowing client testimonials by bringing their voices and faces in front of potential clients.

Ask an Agent: Whether you’re craving one last opportunity to establish yourself as the real estate expert on the block, or you’d like to pass the baton to another team member, the “Ask an Agent” section allows you to think through some of the most commonly asked questions your sphere finds themselves inquiring about, and provide them with thoughtful responses.

Ready to Personalize?

Before jumping in, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Having photo and branding assets on hand may speed up the personalization process (and even leave you feeling like a career shift into the editorial world may be in order)
  • Within the customizable page copy, look out for any [brackets], indicating the need to change between the use of “I” and “we”
  • Ready to send the final product on its merry way? Take a moment to check that you have updated your name and contact information in every allocated spot.
  • The personalization goes beyond just content. The customizable pages feature the signature red and white of the Keller Williams brand, which you are free to leverage if you choose. However, note that the tabs along the top left-hand corner of each page as well as some text can be personalized to fit your individual brand and color-scheme needs. Play around to truly make the magazine your own.
